If you're not into the club scene and are looking for a low-key place to hang out, Vintropolis wine bar in Westchase is a stellar place to play a game of shuffleboard, have an Irish coffee, dive into a cheese and fruit tray or stop in to enjoy a selection of specialty beers and a variety of wonderful wines from all over the world. You can order wines by the glass for as little as $5! Alternate Fridays bring musical brothers The Savants, an acoustic folk/rock duo who perform commercial hits (and requests!) on the outdoor patio. You can request table heaters for comfort on the patio or go inside and cozy up on the couch next to the fireplace and watch a game of shuffleboard or darts. Call any of the local nearby restaurants in the Carillon Center and have wonderful food delivered at your convenience. It's a great atmosphere for intimate parties, date night or a reunion with an old friend. It's a fun, adult place to enjoy a nice evening with friends without the hubbub and fuss of a club. Not too pretentious and not too casual and one of our favorite spots in the city.
